PENRHYNOEDD LLANGADWALADR SSSI
This area of rocky headlands, sandy
bays and sand dunes is one of the few places on the island without
public access. Along with a number of scarce plants it supported
seabird colonies such as lesser black -backed and herring gulls which
were otherwise scarce on the mainland due to disturbance. However these
appear to have declined in recent years.
