The summit of this limestone plateau, with spectacular views of Snowdonia and Conwy Bay, supports one of the few remnant areas of limestone grassland on the island while the flanks boast limestone heath with a bizarre mixture of lime and acid loving species such as common rockrose, salad burnet, bell heather and western gorse. This is open access land, best reached via the footpath stile on the road from the south. The dogs at Tandinas farm like a quiet life - tread softly!
